The State of Delaware is home to over 78,000 veterans. Veterans make up nearly 9% of Delaware’s population, not including their families. Together we can make a difference, for veterans of all ages and generations.
Ways to Register
The Delaware Department Of Elections has listed several ways to register to vote so that your voice will be heard. Various ways to register to vote include by mail, by phone, in person, online or at the following State Offices – Division of Motor Vehicles, Department of Health and Social Services, and Department of Labor.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to vote in the State of Delaware, you must be:
- United States Citizen
- Resident of Delaware (proof required)
- 18 years of age
- Mentally competent
Voting by Absentee
If you are a registered voter and you are unable to go to your regular polling place on election day to cast your vote, you may be eligible to vote by absentee ballot.
