On Friday, February 14, 2020, the DE State and New Castle County Chambers’ Joint Military Affairs Committee would like to invite you to join us at the Delaware Air National Guard base for our annual “State of the Guard” briefing.
The morning will include briefing with information about the current missions and operations of the Guard. The Delaware National Guard leadership team will share information about upcoming projects, current missions and activities. This event provides a wonderful opportunity to show support and gratitude to the 2,700 men and women who serve our state and nation in the Delaware National Guard!
The State of the Guard Briefing is open to the public. The cost to participate is $10 per person. To join us, DSCC and NCCCC members and the public should visit the one event link provided below and register for the event.
The deadline for Registration is Monday, February 3. Due to security requirements for base access, each attendee will need to provide: Full Name, Date of Birth, and Driver’s License Number/State.

The Youth ChalleNGe (YC) program provides a second-chance opportunity to Delaware at-risk youth. Our Cadets have moved on to pursue higher education, seek employment, and some have joined the military. Mentor/Mentee relationships are key to supporting the Cadet’s success.

Dynamic Systems Technology is hiring: Prevention Coordinator (contractor position assigned to DE Army National Guard)
The Prevention Coordinator will serve as the Substance Abuse Prevention Trainer and Case Manager within their assigned State Army National Guard. The PC will report directly to the ADCO. The PC will Coordinate and conduct Substance Abuse Prevention (SAP) Training for ARNG Units that meet or supersede the requirements in AR 600-85 and AR 350-53. The PC will coordinate, facilitate, quality check and ship the Unit Risk Inventory (URI)
and Reintegration Unit Risk Inventory (RURI). Please see attached for full job duties.
Education and Experience:
Associates Degree in a Social Science or related field, or 3 – 5 years of practical experience in the Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention or Resiliency field.
Strong and professional instruction and briefing skills which demonstrate flexibility with various audiences.
Ability to work a variable schedule as duties require, including some of the weekends that state units are conducting training
