The National Guard’s Youth ChalleNGe program is for high school dropouts, those no longer attending, and those failing in high school.
The Youth ChalleNGe program is a highly structured military styled, non-traditional educational environment that integrates training, mentoring, tough love, and diverse educational and extracurricular activities. This program is an excellent opportunity for students that cannot conform to a traditional learning environment and are willing to learn but need discipline.
The Delaware National Guard is offering 10 seats in the upcoming Class 56.
There is no cost for tuition, room, or meals. The start date for the next class is March 29, 2021. Interested candidates should apply by February 28, 2021. NAMI Delaware is offering a free virtual NAMI Basics class for parents, caregivers and guardians with a child who may be experiencing mental health challenges.
Widener University Delaware Law School Veterans Law Clinic is offering virtual appointments this semester for VA Appeals cases at 10:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. on the following days:
The Food Bank of Delaware is prepared to once again carry out their Emergency Food Mobile Pantry. Participants are asked to bring proof of identification and Delaware residency. Service will be first-come, first-served.
