Delaware Veterans 2020 Stand Down Postponed to April 2021

The Stand Down originally scheduled for Friday, 24 September 2020 is now rescheduled for Friday, 23 April 2021.

Sadly, the event is delayed due to the ongoing Coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Your health and well-being remains our top concern, as always and we do not want to jeopardize you in any way. Safe distancing, masks and so many more guidelines established by our State Governor by direction of the CDC, to keep everyone safe still may have the potential for unhealthy risks even with our best efforts.

For Veterans, Family Members and Service Providers, we look forward to the twelfth annual Stand Down event and hope that moving from September to April will not cause too much delay in your services. If you are in need of any
type of service please do not wait until April. Our Committee Members are standing by to assist you at any time. Call the Veterans’ Awareness Center in Greenwood, Delaware at 302-349-4898.

Our Committee appreciates the organizations that have already registered, as Service Providers for the upcoming 2020 event and we will continue to hold a place for you for the 2021 event. You need not reapply. If you are unavailable to attend, please contact the Veterans Awareness Center at:
302-349-4898 or
lbjnavcret@hotmail.com
We will ensure that any information that you would like to provide to attendees will be set in a special planned area.

We wish you all continued good health as the world navigates back to a safe and normal life. Thank you for your patience and understanding and we will see you in April!
